Exhibition MAGNA RES LIBERTAS – LIBERTY IS A GREAT THING 13.11.2022 – 26.03.2023
The Pilecki Institute and the Polish Museum Rapperswil invite you to the exhibition MAGNA RES LIBERTAS – FREEDOM IS A GREAT THING organized on the occasion of the 104th anniversary of Poland regaining its independence.
Before the Hotel Schwanen in Rapperswil is reopened and the collections of the Polish Museum are presented in a new exhibition, the new owner of the building – the Pilecki Institute – decided to revive the empty hotel rooms with a small exhibition MAGNA RES LIBERTAS – FREEDOM IS A GREAT THING.
The exhibition commemorates over a hundred years of Poland’s road to independence and the rebirth of the state in 1918. Its intention is to present the image of this dramatic period through the works of art, historical memorabilia and archives created at that time, owned by the Polish Museum in Rapperswil.
The exhibition can be visit from November 13th 2022 to March 26th, 2023 at Hotel Schwanen, Seequai 1, 8640 Rapperswil.
It is open every Saturday and Sunday from 11.00 to 16.00 (except 24-25.12.2022, 31.12.2022 and 1.1.2023).
Free entrance.
