The Permanent Conference of Polish Museums, Archives and Libraries in the West (MABPZ) was founded in 1979 at the Polish Museum in Rapperswil. It is an organization of Polish museums, archives and libraries outside the country. The aim of the conference is to coordinate the activities of member institutions, which care about the achievements and development of Polish culture, and to present to the world its richness and inseparability from the humanistic European culture.
