A remarkable exhibition is coming soon to the Polish Museum in Rapperswil! – 26.01.2025

We cordially invite you to the opening and new exhibition of the Polish Museum at the Burghof, the townhouse on Rapperswil’s main square that also houses the Polish Library.

Spuren/Ślady. Das polnische Beisein in der Schweiz

Opening: January 26, 2025
Vernissage on January 26, 2025, at 2:00 PM in the Knights’ Hall at Rapperswil Castle.

Please confirm your attendance by January 15, 2025, via email: info@polenmuseum.ch

The exhibition will be presented in the “Burghof” townhouse (below the castle) at Hauptplatz 8 in Rapperswil, which houses the Library and Archives of the Polish Museum.

Opening hours: daily from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM

Curated by the young architect Marcin Jachimczyk, the exhibition will lead us through various regions of Switzerland, revealing the Polish contribution and presence in the Swiss historical context.

We will learn about the history and accomplishments of Polish émigré architects, engineers, and artists who have left lasting marks on the Swiss cultural landscape. Familiar names, such as Antoni Patek, will be featured, alongside many less well-known but equally intriguing figures and their works.

For updates and additional details leading up to the exhibition, we invite you to visit the Polish Museum in Rapperswil’s website and social media channels.
