The Polish Museum in Rapperswil has been deprived of its premises by a decision of the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage.

Dear Friends,

It is with great sadness that we inform you that the situation of our Polish Museum in Rapperswil is becoming increasingly complicated. In July 2022, a letter of intent was signed to secure the future of the museum in a new location. Unfortunately, this document was recently annulled, and our plans for a new museum site have been cancelled.

The museum remains in Rapperswil, and, as we have done for the past 70 years, we will continue building an independent cultural institution. We remain committed to the promise we made to our donors. We will continue to care for, preserve, and promote our collections. The museum has survived thanks to the hard work and generosity of many generations of noble Poles. We would be grateful for your continued support. Together, we will keep writing the history of Polish Rapperswil.
