Last Open Door Day on May 1, 2022

For the last time !!!
Open Door Day on May 1st from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Jazz concert – Lech Wieleba im Museum at 5.00 p.m.

Day of the Friends of the Polish Museum at the castle in Rapperswil

The 150-year rich history of the presence of Poles at the castle in Rapperswil is about to end – a cultural institution created by Poles and Swiss, a symbol of Polish-Swiss associations.

Currently, there is a brutal war in Ukraine. The only museum in Switzerland that has presented the history of Ukraine, the threats of totalitarian systems, must leave the castle.

May 1, 2022 was the last opportunity to see the collection of art and historical documents accumulated over the 68 years of the present Museum in the castle. Walks through the rooms where we spent a lot of time talking about literature and art, the ups and downs in history. We were accompanied by the memories of concerts, vernissages, meetings with authors and scientific conferences.

We ended this last Sunday at the Polish Museum with a jazz concert by Lech Wieleba.
